La iniciativa busca aumentar la cantidad de árboles en la comuna y fomentar la conciencia medioambiental de los estudiantes

Para hacer frente al cambio climático, el departamento de medioambiente de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Conchalí, la Corporación de Educación, Salud y Atención de Menores, junto a CONAF y su programa de arborización “un chileno, un árbol”, buscan reforestar diversas áreas urbanas.

En ese contexto alumnos y alumnas de las escuelas Atenea y Valle del Inca participaron de este programa. No solo se trata de plantar un árbol y listo, si no que cada alumno/a, debe apadrinar al árbol bautizándolo con un nombre y adquiriendo el compromiso de cuidarlo.

Las niñas del colegio Atenea plantaron diez árboles en la Plaza Bicentenario dónde instalaron especies como el Molle y Quillay, mientras que la escuela Valle del Inca enterraron quince especies de Pelü en el bandejón central de la avenida Guanaco frente al CESFAM Alberto Bachelet.
