Una importante inversión en mejorar las instalaciones y almacenamientos de medicamentos, busca favorecer a usuarios y funcionarios.
Fue el mismo alcalde René de la Vega , quién supervisó las dependencias de la farmacia del CESFAM Lucas Sierra, cuya remodelación ya finalizó y transformó estas instalaciones en un lugar optimizado gracias a la gestión del Área de Salud de Coresam por orden alcaldicia.
Este plan de mejoramiento comenzó en el año 2017 con la remodelación de la farmacia del CESFAM Juanita Aguirre y continuó con la renovación estructural de la farmacia del CESFAM Lucas Sierra. Esto parte de un trabajo de mejoras para cada centro de Salud, que busca optimizar la atención y el servicio de los dispositivos de administración Municipal de Conchalí.

Cortina metálica de atención, pintura y estantes para almacenamiento, son parte del cambio que le ha dado un nuevo aire al centro perteneciente al Barrio Central. Bajo esta misma lógica el Departamento de Obras trabajará en las farmacias del CESFAM Symon Ojeda, el CECOSF Haydée Sepúlveda y por último, en la del CESFAM Alberto Bachelet.
Estas medidas son parte de uno de los grandes compromisos de la actual gestión, cuyo foco principal es fortalecer el servicio de la red de salud de Conchalí.
