Como ya es tradición, el Alcalde de Conchalí y presidente del directorio de Coresam, René de la Vega, dio inicio a un nuevo año escolar lleno de buenas noticias que optimizarán la calidad de la enseñanza en los 19 establecimientos pertenecientes a la red de escuelas y liceos municipales de la comuna.

La Escuela Horacio Johnson Gana, fue el lugar escogido para dicha ceremonia de inicio del año académico, pues este establecimiento junto con la Escuela Sol Naciente y el Liceo Poeta Federico García Lorca, durante el 2019 lograron salir del nivel de insuficiencia, logrando así garantizar un mejor nivel de enseñanza basado en un plan de estudio sólido de acuerdo a los estándares ministeriales.

Así también padres, apoderados y cuerpos docentes conocieron los avances durante este verano en temas de infraestructura con las mejoras en los espacios de convivencia, repintado y demarcaciones en multicanchas y recuperación de salas de todos los establecimientos de Conchalí.

Desde el inicio de esta administración municipal se han gestionado diversos planes de mejoramiento pedagógico, permitiendo incrementar el número de matriculados a casi nueve mil alumnos y alumnas en Conchalí.
