Deportes como Goball, voleibol sentado, circuito vendado, entre otros juegos paralímpicos se están practicando en la Escuela Alejandro Bernales, oportunidad donde los estudiantes son protagonistas como parte del programa de inclusión escolar desarrollada por la Oficina de la Discapacidad de la Dirección de Desarrollo Comunitario de Conchalí. El objetivo de esta iniciativa inspira al trabajo en equipo y coordinación con los deportes inclusivos, promoviendo la participación activa de los alumnos poniendo en práctica la empatía.

La actividad tiene como valor agregado un espacio sensorial para que los niños aprendan a identificar sonidos, texturas y olores sin utilizar la visión; ampliando el espectro inclusivo, lo que permite a niñas y niños de la escuela a comprender las sensaciones que perciben a diario, personas que experimentan algún grado de discapacidad.

Para el alcalde de Conchalí, René de la Vega quien preside la Corporación Municipal de Educación, Salud y Atención de Menores, aseguró que “es importante generar conciencia en nuestras niñas y niños, sobre cómo tratamos a las personas con discapacidad. En esa línea, la experiencia de saber cómo se juegan estos deportes nos ayuda a generar una mejor comunidad”.
