Desde cosas tan básicas como saber dar un vuelto, hasta saber cuál es la tasa de interés más baja para solicitar un crédito de consumo, son unos de los variados conceptos que aprendieron nuestros alumnos de las escuelas municipales dependientes de la Municipalidad de Conchalí.

La iniciativa fue instruida por el alcalde René de la Vega, quien preside la Corporación Municipal de Educación, Salud y Atención de Menores, por medio del Servicio Nacional del Consumidor, quienes con su Programa de Educación Financiera para escolares y jóvenes, realizaron obras teatrales en las escuelas Poeta Eusebio Lillo, José Alejandro Bernales, Likan Antai y Valle del Inca.

Las piezas teatrales exhibidas fueron “Los Caminos del Hincha”; esta puesta en escena nos cuenta la historia de Juan, un joven hincha del fútbol que, ante la emoción de ver convertido a Chile en campeón, inicia un largo viaje donde deberá tomar decisiones que marcarán positiva o negativamente su futuro económico.
La segunda obra, “La clase maestra”, cuenta la historia de Iris, una niña que sueña con ser bailarina y al mismo tiempo debe ayudar económicamente a su abuelo con los gastos del hogar. El camino no es fácil, pero con esfuerzo, organización y educándose financieramente, todo es posible.

Para el alcalde de René de la Vega es importante que “nuestros niños y niñas aprendan a ser responsable con el dinero y sepan informarse acerca de cómo operan los instrumentos financieros, también queremos incentivar el ahorro para poder conseguir sus metas sin quedar endeudados”, concluyó.
