Estudiante de la Escuela Camilo Henríquez ganadora categoría damas deslumbró en Torneo Memorial de Ajedrez 2019
Con orgullo nuestra alumna de Séptimo Básico de la Escuela Municipal de Conchalí Camilo Henríquez, lució su talento tras años de preparación, convirtiéndose en la campeona del Torneo Memorial de Ajedrez que se realizó en Independencia en el marco de las actividades de aniversario de dicha comuna.

Naomi Jaña Álvarez comentó: “Mi amor por el ajedrez comenzó en quinto básico. Nuestro profesor jefe, Osvaldo Gallegos, nos dijo si queríamos aprender a jugar y el curso dijo que sí. Él me enseñó movidas, estrategias, cómo hacer jaque mate y cómo librarse de un jaque, él nos inspiró a todos. Gracias al ajedrez yo tengo buenas notas porque me concentro más”.
El evento estuvo a cargo bajo la dirección técnica del gran maestro del ajedrez, Iván Mórovic y contó con el patrocinio de la Federación Chilena de Ajedrez.
Noemi dedicó el triunfo a todo su equipo y sus compañeros, convirtiéndose en un referente para su colegio y la comuna de Conchalí.
