Fue en el Jardín Infantil y Sala Cuna Andalue de Conchalí, donde la Seremi de Salud Metropolitana Rosa Oyarse y la Seremi de Educación Bárbara Soto, dieron el vamos a la semana de lactancia a nivel nacional.

En la visita, a la que asistieron la Directora Regional Metropolitana, de JUNJI, Mónica Morales, representantes del Ministerio de Desarrollo Regional y el Alcalde de Conchalí, René de la Vega, inauguraron las actividades de esta semana, donde compartieron con madres (migrantes y chilenas), que amamantan a sus hijos, sin importar su asistencia al jardín, lo que es valorado enormemente por el espacio brindado para este vital proceso en el desarrollo físico y emocional de sus guaguas.

Las autoridades entregaron un mensaje para incentivar la lactancia: “esto es parte del plan del Presidente Piñera enmarcado en el aumento a seis meses de post natal para extender la lactancia materna”, señaló la Seremi de Salud Rosa Oyarse.
La Seremi de Educación Bárbara Soto, en su penúltimo día de trabajo antes de iniciar su pre natal, señaló estar agradecida de Conchalí y de la Junji por esta oportunidad de promover algo tan importante como es el apego madre hijo. A estas palabras se sumó el alcalde asegurando dar todo el apoyo para seguir generando redes intersectoriales entre los colegios, centros de salud etc, para prolongar el proceso de lactancia en beneficio de desarrollo de sus hijos e hijas.
